Oriane Falkenstein

I am a teacher of many years qualified at all grade levels but for the last 22 years have taught Social Studies to Grade 8. As a skilled and creative educator, I hold additional qualifications in Special Education, Guidance, English as a Second Language, and Teacher Librarianship.

I thrive under pressure and am known for my commitment and dedication to my work. I'm always willing to go above and beyond to ensure that any task is completed to perfection. My passion for learning is evident in my personal life as well, as I'm an avid reader and love to write. Last summer, I achieved a significant milestone in my writing career by publishing a children's book that has been well-received by both children and adults.

I consider myself a lifelong learner and am always ready for a challenge!

I have taught for 40 years and during my tenure, I added to the school culture by initiating a House System and headed up Student Council I am also proud to have written a curriculum for various subjects for both adult and student education, as well as a children's book. My qualifications include Special Education, English as a Second Language, Guidance, and Teacher Librarian.

My professional education qualifications include being a member of the Ontario College of Teachers in good standing, qualified to teach at all grade levels, and additional specialist qualifications in guidance, special education, English as a second language, and teacher librarianship.
