Khavin Sivatharan

My name is Khavin Sivatharan and I'm in my 2nd year 2nd term in the University of Waterloo studying Accounting and Financial Management. I am a highly organized and hard-working individual looking for an opportunity to utilize my skills and accounting/finance studies background to the maximum.

My communication skills have helped me build positive relationships with clients and meet their needs. In my first CO-OP, I worked as a Tax Accountant for Lott and Company, where I demonstrated my communication abilities when answering and asking questions to the clients daily. I followed up with clients daily to obtain their tax information and communicated effectively well with them. This is a skill I can use as an Accountant to build positive relationships with clients and communities to answer any of their questions and suggestions.

My teamwork skills have enabled me to work more productively with others as I worked as a Data Entry Operator at Nimble Information Strategies Inc, in the Quality Control Department where I was placed into teams to complete tasks close to the deadline. I took the initiative in leading my teammates in the discussion, planning, and decision-making. We were successfully able to complete the files before the assigned deadline every week. I strongly believe working for your company will help me collaborate with my teammates on any problems and progress updates on a consistent basis.
