As a newly licensed RN, I am eager to begin my nursing career with an organization committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

I recently earned my Bachelor of Nursing Degree from The Medicine Hat College, where I developed a strong foundation in clinical skills, patient care, and critical thinking. During my clinical rotations, I gained hands-on experience in various departments including medical-surgical (cardiac and orthopedic), mental health, and primary care. These experiences taught me how to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, communicate effectively with patients and families, and adapt quickly in fast-paced environments.

I am passionate about providing patient-centered care and continuously improving my knowledge and skills. I bring a strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to excellence. I am confident that my dedication to the nursing profession and eagerness to learn make me a valuable addition to any team.

Aside from my nursing experience, I own a small business where I teach dance and aquafit classes at the Big Marble Go Centre. My role as a dance and aquafit instructor requires me to build rapport with participants of all ages. In this role I have been created a strong passion for health and lifestyle that I extend to those who I teach. Additionally, as a business owner, I also manage a small team of instructors whom I train and mentor.

• Assigned to full patient load, provided personal care, vital signs, POC testing, oral, subcutaneous injections and IV medications, charting in Connect Care. IV insertion, blood transfusions, heparin infusion, collaboration with physician, telemetry reading, NIH assessments.

Nursing Practicum Placement (Unpaid) - September 2024 – November 2024

Primary Care Network, Dr. Cameron’s Office

• Assigned to six patients, provided diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and nutrition education, teaching and management. Administered Intramuscular injections, performed SLUMS assessments and referrals to geriatrician. collaborated with the physician regarding medication, medication review and medication recommendations. Accurately documented patient encounters.
