Kyle Troskot

Bachelor of Public Relations graduate (Humber College). I am passionate about media, communications and sports and am working towards developing the ultimate PR resume that can take me to the next level. I have been assisting on projects in the industry for the past five years and have developed some strong initial communications skills.

I am a strong writer whose main strength is writing press releases and media pitches. I am well in tune with all social media networks, have good time management skills, and am a creative thinker. I am also adept with applications including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Meltwater, Cision and MRP.

Hands-on experience helping manage client relationships and executing high-impact media relations campaigns. Highlights of my contributions include:

• Media List Management: Build and update media contact lists, including journalists, bloggers, and influencers. Maintain relationships with key media contacts across North America.
• Media Monitoring: Monitor media outlets (print, digital, broadcast) to track news and mentions related to clients or their industries. Track results using data and other tools to create coverage reports.
• Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their needs, goals, and expectations. Provide updates on the progress of PR campaigns and projects.
• Content Creation: Develop and edit press releases, media pitches, and other written materials.
• Research: Research client industries, competitors, and relevant trends. Provide research findings to inform PR strategies.
• Social Media Management: Assist in managing and scheduling client social media content. Monitor social media channels for engagement and feedback.
