I just joined the Bancroft fire fighter's after coming back from BC where I worked as a train conductor. I have the ability to work well in teams as well as alone. I‘m very positive and outgoing, I also take direction very well. the skills I have are: train operations, mechanical diagnostics and repairs, safety management, emergency procedures, preventative maintenance, facility upkeep, troubleshooting and problem solving under pressure, team collaboration, leadership, groundskeeping, equipment care, customer service, communication, organization, time management, radio communications, analytical and critical thinking.
I started my career off as a labourer for BSG a pluming and HVAC company in high school, I then started working for LiUNA local 183 as a handyman which I did for 4 years. I then went into mechanics for a year at a local shop in coboconk, I relocated to Cobourg working for rosewood estates a retirement home as a maintenance technician. I was the offered a job by CN Rail as a train conductor in kamloops BC. cn had a mass layoff so I came back home to Bancroft to be closer to my family and to find something more stable.
I graduated high school in 2020 with honours.
