Lucas Valencia

I am seeking practical experience in the legal field. Motivated, self-starter with a desire to learn and contribute to group objectives.

Prior to law school, I was employed by a boutique transport brokerage firm in a front-facing role. There I honed my interpersonal skills while striving to meet clients' expectations in a timely, considerate, and efficacious manner.

Throughout my law school, I have worked as a Peer Mentor, tutoring secondary students in STEM-related and English courses. My mentorship did not just lie in academics, but also in the life skills necessary for my students to thrive and reach the ambitious goals they set for themselves.

Juris Doctor, Queen's University Faculty of Law
