● Reconcile balance sheet-related general ledger and sub-ledger accounts and other associated clerical duties such as maintaining filing and record systems.
● Keep financial records, cash and cash equivalents in accordance with policies and procedures using ERP systems and computer applications.
● Post journal entries; reconcile accounts; prepare trial balance of books; general ledger maintenance; bank reconciliations;
calculate fixed assets and depreciation; manage accounts receivable and accounts payable; and prepare cash flow for financial reporting under IFRS legislation and local laws.
● Record, store, access, and analyze journal and ledger entries, bank statements, inventories, expenditures, and other accounting and financial information or documents to ensure financial recording accuracy and compliance with established accounting policies, procedures, and internal audit controls.
● Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements according to company procedures.
● Complete period-end closing procedures for preparing accounting and financial statements.
● Examine accounting records to prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.
● Explain variances of the income statement.
● Analyze OPEX Vs. Budget and CAPEX Vs. Budget variances.
● Forecast future financial performance based on historical data and market trends.
