Mahmoud Elnagdi Has Over 10 Years’ Experience of Engineering Experience in Façade Industry, Building Envelope & Sustainability. He Undertake Design, Engineering, and Documentation, Capability to Handle Multiple Projects, Prioritize and Resolve Technical Problems to Ensure the Quality of the Products and Services on Projects.

Mahmoud Engineering Management Experience Includes the Planning, Organizing, Reporting and Optimizing the Building Design Concept to Reduce Costs and Ensure Work is Completed on Time and Within Budget.

Mahmoud has Knowledge of building physics with emphasis on thermal, moisture control, Water/Air tightness and acoustics. Undertaking condensation risk analysis, overall U value calculations, acoustic predictions for varying build-ups using be-spoke software programmes.

• Conduct design reviews of architectural drawings, specifications, BOQ and Contracts from the early stages of the project through to completion.
• Analyzes façade performance with specialized software (i.e. Loading , thermal analysis , Condensation Risk , Geometry).
• attend client meetings, carry out technical audits of façade subcontractor tenders, visit site to monitor and advise the subcontractor, produce detailed technical reports, witness laboratory and on-site testing and carry out a final review.
• Work closely with the Team / Project Leader on all technical matters related to the projects, Coordinating with Purchasing, Production and Planning Teams.
• Preparing all Technical Submittals, complying it with project specification and ensuring all the Submitted Materials are within the budgets.
• Review shop drawings, test reports, and Material submittals provided by manufacturers/ suppliers to assess conformance to specifications, constructability.
• Review mock-ups (on-site and/or in a plant shop environment) to check that as constructed assemblies meet the project intent and provide durable detailing.
• In-depth knowledge of building materials, construction processes, international codes and standards, fire rated materials and waterproofing.
• Assist the project teams with all aspect of project implementation, including but not limited to site and factory inspection, quality, audits, reports preparation, etc.
• Research Suitable Glass Performance, Performing Acoustic and thermal modeling and analysis to ensure sustainability requirements.
• Assists in construction administration, responding to RFIs and organizing submittal logs.
• Prepare façade detailing in 2D and 3D Format for Client Communication.
• In-depth knowledge of Glass Performance, performing acoustic and thermal modeling and analysis to ensure sustainability requirements.
