Seeking to grow into a Front Desk, Housekeeping Supervisor or Guest/Client
Experience Lead role within a dynamic hospitality team in Montreal
As a Front Desk Hospitality Agent, I was in charge of managing bookings, payments, room assignment, client service through email/app/ in-person, as well as supervising Housekeeping was done properly, such as Maintenance tasks were finished in time, ensuring the apartments at Sonder Inc. were guest-ready by working closely with those teams and my colleagues and superiors, also, training new team members for Hospitality and Front Desk agents.
I worked with Opera, Salesforce and Slack, mostly. Even though the Hospitality Agent role was my first job in the hotel industry, I managed to learn and work in a fast-paced environment and got promoted after one year to Front Desk Hospitality Agent, being able to learn more skills, even during high season and recent merge with Marriott.
This role only lasted 3 months because Sonder filed for bankruptcy in November 2025.
I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology, which I studied in Mexico City. I worked as a Kindergarten teacher and then as a Special Education Paraprofessional, shadowing children with ADHD and Autism diagnoses at inclusive schools, working alongside teachers, principals, parents and therapists.
