Safety-compliance SaaS (inspections, incidents, certifications, training records) for construction and industrial firms, built with a safety consulting partner. Co-founded the company and built the flagship product end to end in Go and Angular as its primary developer. Live with 9 paying companies and 140 users, split between new clients and accounts migrated off the partner's legacy platform.

• Built a dynamic form builder so clients can create and adapt their own compliance reports without a developer.
• Integrated Stripe for client billing, with a worker that processes webhook events and reconciles them against application state. Unit tested in Go and verified against the Stripe sandbox.
• Implemented JWT auth with rotating access and refresh tokens, and per-action role-based permissions across multi-tenant company data.
• Containerized the platform with Docker. Automated deploys and database backups with GitHub Actions and cron on a DigitalOcean Linux host.

B2B SaaS for tracking contractor work during industrial plant downtime.

• Built a dynamic CRUD API service in Go covering 200+ PostgreSQL tables, cutting roughly a month of hand-written endpoint work. One implementation covers every table, so a change to CRUD behaviour doesn't have to be repeated 200 times.
• Built pessimistic row-level locking on a dedicated lock table, plus transactional rollback, for concurrent multi-user edits.
• Helped migrate a legacy system onto Go and PostgreSQL in a team-wide rewrite, including a redesign of core data-access patterns.

Software Developer, Co-op at Pollard Banknote Limited (2022-09 – 2022-12)

• Built a form and data view in React against existing Java/Oracle REST endpoints on a Dockerized inventory management platform.

Software Developer, Co-op at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (2022-01 – 2022-04)

• Wrote a CSV-to-SQL generator that produced Oracle migration scripts for a large-scale data fix, preserving referential integrity constraints.
• Found and fixed broken styled-font rendering across all ~20 JasperReports PDFs in the Grails/Vue app, using a reusable runtime font-embedding method.
