About

I’m currently going into my fourth year of Sociology (honours) at Acadia University, and I intend to get my Bachelor of Social Work after graduating. Throughout my degree, I’ve been taught to look at life through an intersectional, anti- oppressive, feminist lens, which empowers me in understanding and supporting diverse groups of people. I’m currently in the processes of writing my award- winning thesis about the impacts of trauma on people from marginalized backgrounds and the importance of community support in rehabilitation from trauma.

I’ve always been extremely passionate about serving my community and fostering inclusive, equitable, and compassionate environments, and I'm interested in positions that help me bring that passion to life.
