Meg O’Connell

After many years in the professional helping sector, specifically child protection, social work, I felt I needed to ground my practice in a more energetic and natural way. Through extensive research and education I am proud to say that I am an advanced Reiki healer who has had the continued privilege to connect with numerous souls who are open to this healing experience.

My professional experience is extensive in terms of the diverse population of served, and the roles I have played while serving and helping others. Through this past experience, it has been beyond challenging, yet rewarding, and ways that cannot be expressed. I have a strong faith in the power of the pure light in this world, and I hope to spread it through my Usui Reiki practice.

My education revolves around mental health, counselling and psychology. It focusses on indigenous ways of knowing natural healing methods and energetic pathways, and how that connects to our nervous system, etc. Along with my bachelors degree in social work, I possess numerous certificates and mental health, first aid, psychological, first aid trauma, and for practice, indigenous in foreign practice, crisis, intervention conflict, resolution, suicide, prevention, and so on. I am also focus on advancing my Usui Reiki practice through several levels of training with Reiki on the rock, which is Canadian certified. Presently I’m working towards securing my naturopath status and masters in counselling psychology. As a believer in continuous growth, I hope to continue to grow, and enable those around me to do the same.
