Michael Newby

I am Michael, a Canadian English teacher with four years of experience in Cambodia, where I have taught a wide range of grade levels, from grade 1 through grade 9. Additionally, I am in the process of pursuing my university degree at the University of the People. I am currently seeking opportunities to further my teaching career in a new international setting.

In 2019, I obtained my TEFL certificate and subsequently relocated to Cambodia. Over the course of two years, I served as an English teacher at Luxury International School, where I taught students ranging from grades 1 to 6. Following this tenure, I secured a position at Western International School, where I have been instructing students in grades 6 to 9. Concurrently, I am actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business.

I obtained my TEFL certificate in 2019 and am currently less than a year away from completing my Bachelor's degree with the University of the People (UoP), an accredited institution located in the United States.
