Through my studies at HEC Montréal for the Certificate of Business Analyst in Information Technology, I was able to develop capacities to collect and analyze data, to understand commercial operations, Clearly communicate the results of the analysis and make recommendations to improve operations and financial results. Added to this is the development of problem-solving, teamwork and leadership skills to successfully carry out projects and achieve company objectives.
My skills that I want to share and develop are:
- Analyzing data: a good ability to collect, organize and interpret statistical and qualitative data to draw conclusions and recommendations.
- Understanding business operations: in-depth knowledge of a company’s structure and processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Communication: Ability to clearly and effectively communicate the results of the analysis to different audiences such as business leaders, employees and external partners.
- Problem Solving: Ability to identify root causes of a problem and formulate effective solutions.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with other members of the company to carry out projects and achieve common goals.
- Computer skills: Proficiency in computer tools such as spreadsheets and data visualization software to collect, analyze and present data.
- Business Process Management: Improving the effectiveness and efficiency of a company’s operations by optimizing key processes. Identifying and documenting processes, analysing their performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to make them more effective.
