Nicolas Guarin

I am Jhon Guarin , I am an experienced Education Program Manager.

I worked in vulnerable communities in the Colombian and the Peruvian war territories. I participated as an intermediary and as a manager in several educational and cultural programs in schools, private organizations, universities, and community centers. All those governmental programs were oriented to gangs' members, refugees of internal war, victims of sexual and racial discrimination and exploitation, victims of physical and emotional abuse and public schools’ populations. Due many administrative gaps, I took care of many Human resources processes for more than five years.

For the last five years in Canada, I have been facing courageously the immigrant’s challenges. I have successfully worked as a Construction Project Manager, but I know that I must come back to my field: Education.

I obtained my master’s degree in Education (emphasis on Program Management) in Colombia, Bogota 2015. I obtained my master’s Equivalency by WES in 2021. I also obtained my Ontario Secondary School Diploma (Ottawa-Carleton District school board, continuing education) in 2020. I studied a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Literature in Colombia 2006.
