Ole Erik Schultz

My name is Ole Erik Schultz, and I am 19 years old. I was born and raised in a large family in Germany and graduated from high school in 2023. Currently, I am taking a gap year for a "work and travel" experience in Canada from 2023 to 2024. I am known for being good with people, friendly, and punctual, and I pride myself on being motivated, reliable, a fast learner, and a hard worker. In my free time, I enjoy running, playing tennis, and working as a lifeguard. I am fluent in German and English, with beginner proficiency in Spanish and French. My personal interests include history, aviation, and smoking cigars.

In July 2024, I worked as a Bar Assistant at National on 10th Bar and Restaurant in Calgary, where I was responsible for setting up and maintaining the bar, restocking supplies, and handling sales transactions. Prior to this, in March 2024, I was employed full-time in construction with SBW, where I managed tasks such as painting and concrete work, and ensured safety and order on site. In July 2023, I completed a paid apprenticeship at EFW Aviation Company in Germany, gaining experience in soldering, metalwork, and teamwork while maintaining a clean workspace. Earlier, in July 2022, I served as a paid Lifeguard at ZWRDK in Binz, Germany, overseeing beach safety, organizing group activities, and managing the order of the lifeguard towers. Additionally, in April 2019, I participated in a free Good Behavior Course at The Parkhotel Meerane in Germany, where I received training in interpersonal skills and appropriate conduct in various situations.

I graduated from International High School Meerane in Saxony, Germany, in June 2023. During my time there, I focused on key subjects such as German, English, and Math, which were integral to my education and contributed significantly to my academic development. Additionally, my high school experience was enriched by various educational trips, including visits to England, Russia, and Poland. These trips provided me with valuable international exposure and enhanced my understanding of different cultures and historical contexts. Prior to high school, I attended Elementary School Meerane in Saxony, Germany, from 2011 to 2015. This foundational education was crucial in building the essential skills and knowledge that supported my subsequent academic progress and personal growth.
