I am a driven and professional individual who is seeking a new opportunity to advance my knowledge and experience as I have both an industrial electrician background in mines, and am working towards a mechanical engineering degree in university. I am an extremally hardworking individual who is eager to learn new skill that will help me to advance in my chosen career. I have very good critical thinking and problem solving skills that help me achieve my goals.
I am also a very mechanically inclined person who does all of my own maintenance and work that needs to be done.
The past two years I have worked as an Industrial electrician while I'm not in school. I have close to 1500 hours as an electrician, with almost all of them from working in mines in the northern Yukon during construction phases (building a water treatment plant, re-building cone crusher, conveyors, and MCC involved. etc). My previous jobs have been a tire tech at Kal Tire, a labourer/mechanic at a Arctic cat/ Kawasaki dealership, and a crane operator at a log home construction company.
I am an undergraduate mechanical engineering student who is undergoing second year at University of British Columbia Okanagan Campus. I am taking the year off to advance my experience as an engineer.
