Steven Liu

I am highly motivated and detail-oriented mechanical engineering student with a passion for solving complex problems and designing innovative solutions. I have a solid foundation in fundamental engineering principles and hands-on experience with mechanical design and analysis.

I am is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Management from McMaster University, where I have completed courses in mechanics, materials science, thermodynamics, and dynamics, among others.

Additionally, I have worked on several projects that involved designing, building, and testing mechanical systems, working effectively both independently and in teams.

As a mechanical engineering student, I have gained valuable experience in various aspects of mechanical engineering through my academic studies and internships. I am particularly excited to apply for this position because of my experience in the design and implementation of lithium-ion batteries, 3D printing, CNC plasma cutting, and prototype development. Through my internships, I have become skilled in the methodical assembly of various sized lithium-ion batteries, including spot welding, soldering, and BMS implementation. In addition, I have gained experience in performance and quality testing of these batteries to ensure their reliability and effectiveness.
