This role ensures accurate tracking, availability, coding, storage, and issuance of all materials and spare parts required for drilling rig operations.
- Manage daily cash flow and liquidity forecasting.
- Oversee bank accounts and execute wire transfers.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
- Build strong relations with corporate banking partners.
- Oversee periodic physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Reconcile warehouse stock data with the general ledger. Monitor inventory valuation and aging reports. Track and reduce stock shrinkage and waste.
- Maintain the fixed asset register (FAR).
- Record asset additions, transfers, and disposals.
- Calculate monthly depreciation and amortization.
- Conduct annual physical verification of fixed assets.
- Coordinate internal and external audit processes.
- Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS or local GAAP standards. Strengthen internal controls to prevent financial risks.
- Operations Oversight: Manage daily shipping, receiving, packing, and distribution activities.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and reconcile data via warehouse software.
- Staff Leadership: Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate warehouse employees and floor workers.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce workplace safety guidelines and security protocols.
- Process Optimization: Improve workflow efficiency, space utilization, and equipment maintenance.
- Take full ownership of warehouse operations and inventory control
- Re-code, reorganize, and optimize the warehouse layout and material classification system
- Receive, inspect, store, and issue materials based on approved material requests
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory records and stock balances
- Provide real-time visibility of stock levels, issued materials, and remaining quantities
- Use inventory management software, ERP systems, and Excel for tracking and reporting
- Prepare periodic inventory, consumption, and shortage reports for management
- Coordinate material availability with operations, maintenance, and procurement teams
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Ensure proper labeling, traceability, and safe storage of all items
- Enforce warehouse procedures, housekeeping, and safety standards
- Support audits and inspections related to inventory and asset control
- Use warehouse and inventory software efficiently (ERP / Excel / inventory systems)
