Ronald Johnson

I own an IT contractor business. I started the business 15 years ago in 2010. Most of my work has been network support for retail stores.

I started working for Edmonton Telephones in 1974 doing telecommunications work. In the early 1980's when computers started being used in telelephone systems I took some software and hardware courses.

When Edmonton Telephones became Telus I moved to Calgary. I left Telus in 2010 and started my own company. I did work similar to what I did when I was at Telus. In 2012 I partnered with a telecom group from Toronto, called Future Tech, and we provided service for Rogers retail stores accross Canada. Late last year, after Rogers and Shaw merged, they decided to use Shaw"s technicians to replace us. I no longer work for Rogers.
