Transition to Retrement
I give workshops on health and wellness, online as well as in person. I serve on three advisory committees The Mayors' Roundtable, The Advisory Council for the Senior Advocate and the Transit Police Advisory Board
I am also President of our local seniors center association, which has just over 1000 members and I am the Vice-Chair of the Tri-Cities Seniors Action Society which has 1500 members. I also write, play golf, and enjoy life.
I currently contribute in the following ways:
Owner Professional Associates Consulting on various issues surrounding retirement and life planning.
President of The Wilson Centre Seniors Advisory Association. Our Society is focused on making recommendations and giving advice to the Port Coquitlam Community centre’s coordinator, on all programs and policies that affect Seniors in Port Coquitlam and works with low-income seniors to ensure food security.
Vice-Chair of the Tri-Cities Seniors Action Society which offers programs and information to seniors about healthy ageing and protection from abuse.
Member Advisory Council for Senior Advocate, our role is to provide advice on what issues affect seniors in British Columbia so the Advocate can investigate and report to the Legislature.
Co-Chair of the Mayors Roundtable of Citizens. Our role is to provide the Mayor with advice on issues that affect people in our community.
Member of the Transit Police Chief’s Community Council which works cooperatively with the Chief Officer and the Transit Police to identify, inform, discuss and address common issues and trends which may impact the effectiveness of community policing and public safety. Such issues may include: crime reduction, prevention and social disorder, customer service, collaboration with the police and other agencies, misunderstandings and stereotypes
Workshop Creator, Facilitator and Trainer Seniors Helping Seniors Health and Wellness Institute COSCO Health and Wellness Institute is a not-for-profit that has, since 2007, provided over 2,300 workshops to over 50,000 seniors free of charge, on health and wellness issues. We offer 45 workshops that focus on providing information and links to resources. Here are the top ten workshops we deliver:

Since 1972, SHARE, a registered, non-profit charity, has provided services to help connect, engage, and strengthen individuals and families in the Tri-Cities, Anmore, and Belcarra. SHARE’s services touch over 60,000 people in the Tri-Cities area annually.
