I am a friendly, kind and compassionate woman.
I love working with kindergarten children. Teaching have always been a passion of mines since I was a young girl growing up. I would always be playing school with my younger siblings and cousins. I am the oldest of 6 girls, so I also helped my mom to teach my sisters how to read and write from early on. So, I always knew that is what i would end up doing at some point in my life. Because I am very passionate about education and learning. I believe that our children are the future and once they have a great head start with their learning, there are no limit on what they can and will learn.
My professional experience is working with kindergartens children with the YMCA at the St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic school in Georgetown, Ontario. I work with the YMCA from 2019-2024 in the before and after school program full time, every year from September to June.
I work with all type of children and diversity and with special needs.
I plan weekly curriculum based on my observation of the children interest along with my assistant. We would both discuss what we observes and plan accordingly to the children interests.
I read to the children twice per day, because they enjoy reading new and exciting books.
Doing 1 to 2 fun and exciting science projects per week are always a winner with my group of children.
I was educated at Sheridan College at the Brampton David campus.
I graduated in April 2018 with a diploma in Early childhood education.
