I have taught students in beginner, pre-intermediate, and upper-intermediate level groups. I have written versatile lesson plans using the Common Core standards and the local curriculum guide and incorporated daily assessment opportunities. I have experience in explaining difficult concepts in terms students can understand.

I have also provided appropriate feedback to students in a tactful way that inspires, encourages, and motivates them to learn and excel. I also am also very skilled at building rapport with students and effectively communicating with parents about their child's progress.

I have a bachelor degree in English from York University and a CELTA certified from the University of Cambridge
