Samad Rizvi

Hey there! I'm Samad Rizvi, an artist turned animator based in Vancouver, Canada. With a background in storyboard art, illustration, and character design, I've had the opportunity to work on some exciting Netflix animated shows too. Lately, since I've delved into the world of 3D animation, I've been able to find more solutions for creative problem-solving by exploring different techniques and knowledge. Looking forward to share my expertise, help and work with your team!

I started in Dubai in 2011 as a graphic designer, but my love for drawing led me to explore illustration and lead small teams. Worked on films and TV ads, and even did some comic book work. Super proud of being part of the team behind Agent Elvis on Netflix, where I drew characters in dynamic angles. Now, I'm freelancing as an illustrator, a 3D animator, and loving every moment of it!

In 2010, I got my graphic design diploma and started my creative career. Then, in 2014, I went for a bachelor's degree in media science, which I completed in 2018. But I didn't stop there! I kept pushing myself by studying at online schools like Schoolism to level up my digital art skills. And since last year, I've been immersing myself in the world of 3D animation through AnimSchool in order to keep learning and continue growing.
