I am a level designer with roughly a decade of experience and experience across 3 companies. I have also been formally trained in Game Design and an alumni of both Sheridan College and the University of Guelph. Some of the game projects which excite me most are open world and procedural level games, but I pride myself on my versatility and am eager to work with new mediums whenever possible.
McMaster Automotive Research Centre (MARC), VR Game Designer

Handled physics-based (motion + collision) programming problems on behalf of the team for a VR project. Ensured proper implementation of third-party plugins and assets developed by the dev team daily. Organized code base and proposed strategies for improved development to meet deadlines proposed by leaders and investors.

Integrated systems, scripts, art, and other assets into level environments while utilizing effective communication skills and strategies with teams, clients, and team members. Also produced game soundtrack. Utilized 3Cs and 3Ts design methods throughout level design process from idea to implementation.

Created up to date scripts including dialogue and internal thoughts of characters. Managed an item system to be used in branching conversation trees for use in a non-linear design. Organized and proposed narrative design documents to the rest of the team.
Personal Project, Multiplayer Hammer PvP Map, Level Designer
August 2021 – December 2021
Planned, documented, greyboxed, textured, and blocked level spaces in Hammer Engine to create an Arctic military compound themed level for players to compete in a 3D space against each other.
