Sefat Uddin Samee

I am an energetic and inquisitive individual who is eager to explore the mechanical and aerospace engineering industry. I have developed a proficient level of speaking, case analysis, team communication, and pros-cons weightage due to my extensive debating career at both high school and university. I have also attended a workshop for "Design Thinking" which has enabled me to appreciate the need for a streamlined and solution-oriented thinking style. I have acquired several technical skills through my involvement in clubs and academic projects. I have experience with modeling/designing software such as Working Model 2D and CATIA. I have also used statistical analysis tools and data sorting with MS Excel. With respect to coding, I am familiar with MATLAB scripts, having worked on projects that require extracting data from databases and representing them visually through plots.

I am a hard worker with an open mind and a zealous nature, which I believe will enable me to learn and apply the necessary skills at my incumbency. I have had a burning passion for the aerospace industry ever since my childhood days. As I grew up, seeing all the great technological innovations ranging from the space shuttle to the Concorde and the new state-of-the-art passenger aircraft operating the skies today, I really feel this sector has seen massive leaps in technology in a short amount. I would love to be a part of the current crop of scientists, engineers, and researchers who are developing the "next big technology" that will revolutionize the way we look at the aerospace industry and air travel and make it more sustainable.
