Shahram Mazdaki

I am an experienced Neurologist with over 19 years of clinical practice in neurology and additional experience as a general practitioner. I am currently licensed under a Special Licence in Canada and have worked across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency neurology settings. My clinical interests include general neurology, acute neurological presentations, and movement disorders.

I am adaptable, patient-centered, and familiar with multidisciplinary team-based care, with a strong commitment to safe, high-quality neurological services within the Canadian healthcare system.

I am an experienced Neurologist with over 19 years of clinical practice in neurology and 4 years of prior experience as a General Practitioner. My background includes inpatient and outpatient neurology, emergency consultations, and the management of acute and chronic neurological conditions, including stroke, epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, and movement disorders. I have worked in multidisciplinary teams and value clear communication, patient safety, and system-based care.

I am eligible for practice in Canada under a Special Licence and am actively integrating into the Canadian healthcare system.

I completed my Doctor of Medicine (MD) followed by a Neurology residency program at Isfahan University of Medical Sciences. My postgraduate training included comprehensive exposure to clinical neurology, neurophysiology (EEG/EMG), pediatric neurology, neuroradiology, and neurology outpatient clinics. I have also completed ACLS training and successfully passed the OET exam.

I am eligible as a neurologist through the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and continue to pursue ongoing professional development aligned with Canadian standards.
