Skyler Powell

I am an LPN of 5 years! I love working with people, and building relationships. I have experience working in the geriatric field, specifically those who have dementia. I also love to read, and work on my photography as a side business!

I have been an LPN for 5 years, working specifically with the geriatric population. I did my senior practicum on paediatrics for 6 weeks, and gained a lot of experience on that unit! I have experience with wound care, medication administration, catheter care/insertion/removal, subcut lines, running IV medications, taking DR orders, palliative care, documenting, specimen collection and more!

I obtained my nursing diploma at Assiniboine Community College in 2019, and then since then I have been continuing my education with regular CPR certification, WHMIS, wound care educations and webinars. I have completed the pallium course, and currently am studying the nursing process course.
