I am confident with my 13+ years of experience in teaching Art in international schools and coordinating events and the 4+ years of experience as a Settlement worker in Schools at the Newcomer Connections at the YMCA of Greater Saint John and at Dixie Bloor Neighborhood Centre - MSEP Program in Canada and the as well as my personal suitability to work as part of a social enterprise enable my strong candidacy for this position.
The greatest asset I would bring to this position is my experience in working and building relationship with students and families coming from a wide range of cultural backgrounds and the ability to confer with them. My previous positions gave me an excellent understanding of diverse social and cultural constructions of identity.
I strongly believe that my experience in working in school environment and in supporting vulnerable populations as well as my other diverse experience in the community makes me an ideal candidate for this position.
