I am a red seal AST by trade but the last few years I have worked in the engineering department for the Canadian Coast Guard which has built my skills overall in the skilled trades. Ships repair not only included the engine room but all ships machinery from generators, small boats to basic plumbing, and heating and cooling. I have also started a position indentured as an HVAC/R apprentice to build my overall skills as a tradesperson.
