In my role as Young Adults pastor I work closely with the Briercrest college and seminary students who attend our church. I plan events for them and am there for the pastoral care of various kinds. I am the connection point from our students to our church ministries.

This involves discerning what gifts students have and then plugging them into various ministry roles. I then offer support for these students in their roles. I am part of the preaching team and usually preach at least once a month.

When I am not preaching, I am what we call our service presider. This means I do the welcome at the beginning of the service and do the children’s feature and lead the prayer time. During communion services, I help serve the elements.
