Holding a Bachelor's in Biology afforded me four years of intensive research work. Immersed in hands-on experiences - from field sampling, to sample processing, and DNA extraction & sequencing - these opened doors that allowed me to take part in intercountry symposiums where I had the avenue to present papers as well as help facilitate later on.
As a relatively fresh college graduate, I have been limited to part-time work in the retail industry while I have been pursuing a post-graduate education.
My most relevant education was my undergraduate degree which exposed me to a lot of biological concepts while also allowing me to apply those concepts myself. Being in a research-intensive program, I was able to scour available sources for relevant scholarly works which eventually led me to produce a novel study along with two of my peers.
