I am a highly organized and self-driven individual, passionate about developing my career in Accounting as an Accountant. My commitment can be gauged from the fact that I am an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Sri Lanka and hold a Business Management (Special) degree from the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. Currently I am studying for my MBA at Canadian University and expect to start my CPA. I worked for road development company in Surrey, BC as an Accountant.

Possessing more than seven years of experience working in diverse financial positions with multiple companies, including external audit in KPMG Sri Lanka, I have gained an extensive insight within this field. My crucial accounting and financial competencies include, but are not limited to, maintaining financial records, managing budgets, implementing controls, and Coordinating with Stakeholders.

I work for an Australian company in my country as Senior Finance Officer; I am responsible for preparing financial reports and reports for UK Tax Returns, Internal Controls, and Liaising with Banks. During my career, I have gained a specialist’s understanding of financial reporting and accounting software and have also effectively explained complex information comprehensibly.

As a Chartered Accountant, I am an accomplished communicator with excellent organizational, decision-making, and time-management skills, and I have a proven track record of consistently meeting and regularly surpassing demanding performance goals.
