After having graduated from Concordia University’s JMSB in 2021 with a bachelor’s in management, I have been working on movie and television show sets as well as in the restoration industry.
After moving to Toronto in June I am looking for a position as an event planner in order to apply the management, planning and organizational skills acquired through my studies and work experiences.
With almost 10 years of experience in the restaurant industry, from busboy to head busboy to waiter, I have obtained strong customer service skills and am used to intense workloads, rigor, and stress management.
Furthermore, working as a set production assistant taught me how to motivate and manage a team. Those experiences have allowed me to become very adaptable and to gain substantial problem-solving skills in balancing daily scheduled tasks with unexpected situations.
In addition, my experience in the creation and management of a private event association named “Chasse et Pêche” has taught me how to oversee projects from their conception to a viable end- product. Maintaining relationships with artists whilst developing strategies that would grow the business were also key factors in this experience.
I am a challenge-oriented person, always ready to undergo new experiences and push my limits. I believe continuous development is a necessity for adding to our skillset so that individuals can bring added value to their workplace.
Been working in restoration and on movie and TV show sets since I graduated in Management in 2021.
