Experience

Senior Production Supervisor - TRINA SOLAR

(2022)

  • Lead a manufacturing organization of up to 550 employees, including 12 team leaders and 6 supervisors, across 9 production lines and 200+ equipment assets in a two-shift operation.
  • Support approximately 1.9 million solar cells of daily output and approximately 650 million cells of annual production capacity.
  • Increased OEE from 95.0% to 98.3% by reducing downtime, changeover losses, equipment failures and speed losses, while improving process parameters and preventive maintenance effectiveness.
  • Reduced scrap from 1.73% to 0.85%, eliminating approximately 5.7 million units of annual scrap and avoiding an estimated RMB 17 million in product value loss.
  • Apply TPM, 5S, standardized work, line balancing, PDCA, visual management, SPC and KPI-based management to improve equipment performance, process stability and shop-floor execution.
  • Led manufacturing execution for a major half-cell passivation equipment modification and ramp-up completed within approximately 45 days; increased post-modification OEE from approximately 30% to 93% and yield from 93.5% to 98.8%.

Production Supervisor - LONGi

(2020 - 2022)

  • Led a high-volume manufacturing organization of approximately 300 employees, including 10 team leaders and 4 supervisors.
  • Managed daily production execution through a layered frontline leadership structure, coordinating workforce deployment, production priorities, operating standards, quality and equipment requirements.
  • Applied 5S, standardized work, KPI tracking, visual management and continuous improvement to strengthen manufacturing performance and frontline accountability.
