I am writing to you to express my interest in the position of Senior Sourcing Manager, Switzerland. My CV shows a solid track record in procurement across several different spend areas acquired over more than 7 years working within the pharmaceutical industry. I have built my career across a variety of roles, providing me with opportunities to grow and progress and develop a wide range of skills.

In my current position of Cluster Procurement Manager Switzerland, I have led numerous sourcing projects to reduce costs, consolidate supplier base and ensure the expected service levels for my stakeholders across the areas of engineering construction, production GMP cleaning and R&M services, along with facilities management and utilities services. I was also the procurement lead for Switzerland for the Novartis internal global project – Indirect 2.0 tracking costs and savings initiatives related to the costs of producing medicines and presenting to management each month. Prior to this, I performed several different roles within Novartis procurement, with increasing scope and levels of responsibility, as a Procurement Project Manager, Country business partner and Category manager within Real Estate & Facilities Services.

In these roles, I have always looked for opportunities to take innovative approaches and address challenges based on what I have learned delivering projects across multiple countries across Europe. This has allowed me to acquire considerable organisational awareness and a level of comfort in working in matrix and high-pressure ambiguous environments.

I believe that with my skill set, I can partner with engineering to identify opportunities to support, innovate, rethink the way we approach procurement and vendor management, empowering our stakeholders to focus on what really matters for the business and customer.
