Bárbara Starke Carrasco

Hi, I'm Bárbara Starke Carrasco and I'm a UI designer with a background in Illustration, a discipline I've taught myself. I used to be a Spanish teacher, but I changed careers to pursue a lifelong interest in design. Nevertheless, my experience in the education field has prepared me to apply effective communication, cross-cultural awareness, teamwork, and receptiveness to feedback.

Likewise, my experience has helped me develop my organizational and time management skills, as well as conflict resolution, research and problem solving. The idea of working in an area where I can mix my passion for aesthetics with finding solutions for the user excites me a lot. That's why my goal is to work towards building a career as a senior UI designer.
