I am a results-driven, well-organized UX researcher & UX designer with strong qualitative, communication & collaboration skills. I enjoy approaching complex problems to understand & translate user needs & motives into creative & engaging solutions, while leveraging my experience in graphic & architectural design.

I am a user researcher and a UX designer with a master’s of science degree in media architecture from the Bauhaus university in Weimar. I also have a diploma in architecture and urban studies from Damascus University. After over 15 years of working in design and research in the context of architecture and urbanism, I became a conceptual thinker with profound and widely spread knowledge in the areas of design and human behaviour.

As a freelance consultant researcher and UX writer, facilitated conducting user research to build an intuitive users experience and to transform difficult-to-communicate concepts in a simple manner and embed empathy. I was fascinated with the human-centric design approach. Additionally, as a researcher at the institute of sustainable urbanism, I worked on a research investigating digital participation tools in urban planning, using qualitative & quantitative research strategies.

This experience expanded my research tools kit and it was natural for me to make the move to user experience design. For that reason, I have just concluded a 4 months training program (Weiterbildung) in UX design with “CareerFoundry”.
