Farzaneh Khodaei

I am a microbiologist with a PhD and extensive experience in clinical laboratory diagnostics, quality control, and antibiotic resistance monitoring. I have worked closely with infectious disease departments, as well as cardiac surgery and obstetrics teams, contributing to interdisciplinary care and microbiological analysis. I am passionate about advancing patient safety through precise laboratory standards and collaborative healthcare.

I have several years of professional experience in clinical microbiology, with a strong focus on quality control and quality assurance. I have worked extensively in hospital laboratories, where I was responsible for monitoring microbial contamination, validating diagnostic procedures, and ensuring compliance with laboratory standards. My work has included close collaboration with infectious disease units, particularly in the area of antibiotic resistance surveillance.

I have also supported cardiac surgery and obstetrics departments by providing timely and accurate microbiological diagnostics to guide patient care.

I hold a PhD in Medical Bacteriology, with a strong academic and research background in clinical microbiology and infectious diseases. Prior to my doctoral studies, I earned a Master’s degree in Medical Microbiology, where I focused on diagnostic methods and antimicrobial resistance. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology, which provided me with a solid foundation in molecular genetics, cell biology, and laboratory techniques.

My academic journey has equipped me with both theoretical expertise and hands-on experience essential for advanced microbiological research and clinical applications.
