Passionate and dedicated sustainability professional with a background in biotechnology and extensive experience in implementing sustainable practices across various domains. Seeking to leverage academic knowledge and practical skills to drive positive environmental impact. A strategic thinker with an international outlook and a team-oriented mindset.
In my previous role, I applied OpenLCA to conduct life cycle assessments (LCAs) for a range of products, adhering to the ISO 14040 series standards. I carried out a comprehensive LCA for a 500g PET plastic, steel, and paper composite bottle, evaluating the environmental impact of their production, usage, and disposal stages. Through this process, I identified several areas for enhancing the sustainability performance of plastic bottles by exploring alternative raw materials with lower environmental footprints, implementing energy-efficient production methods, and promoting circular economy strategies.
I have also applied sustainability principles in practical settings, providing insights for advancing technical sustainability solutions. For instance, I transformed coffee husk waste (Pectin) into a resource, embodying circular economy principles, and implemented SuperPro Designer for efficient processes, emphasizing sustainable energy use. Additionally, I executed a model emphasizing equipment reuse and ethanol/water recovery for streamlined, sustainable production, demonstrating positive economic indicators by integrating responsible practices into business models.
My experience in biochemistry involved operating the DADE DIMENSION machine for analyzing glucose, uric acid, cholesterol, and triglyceride levels. In hematology, I operated the CBC LH750, ESR analyzer, and coagulation profile test machines, conducting tests for RBC, WBC, platelets, and clotting factors. My microbiology experience includes staining, culturing techniques, and antibiotic sensitivity analysis using Vitek, along with performing tissue examinations for cancer presence in histopathology.
Furthermore, I have learned blood group diagnosis techniques in the blood bank section. In addition, I have developed eco-friendly sanitary pad hydrogels using soya bean flour and potato starch, contributing to sustainable menstruation practices with plant-based material innovations. I implemented bio-alternatives for hydrogels, showcasing my commitment to eco-friendly solutions and applying my knowledge in sustainable materials for environmentally conscious feminine hygiene products.
