Gaurav Kumar

As a Master's student in Mechanical Engineering and Management at Hamburg University of Technology, I am passionate about applying my technical and analytical skills to solve complex problems and create innovative solutions. I have completed my Master Thesis at NÜWIEL, a startup that develops smart and sustainable e-trailers for urban mobility.

In this project, I analyzed key components of the sales and operations planning process, such as demand management, risk management, integrated planning, and supplier integration. I have developed a Material Requirement Planning (MRP) tool to track key performance indicators and plan orders. I have also worked on second sourcing projects and supported the product development team in creating a user manual and production drawings for the e-trailer.

Additionally, I have designed a fixed coupling for a sharing-trailer concept. Through these experiences, I have gained proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD), SOLIDWORKS, and MRP software, as well as project planning, communication, and teamwork skills.

My goal is to leverage my knowledge and expertise in mechanical engineering and management to contribute to the development and improvement of products and processes that enhance efficiency, sustainability, and customer satisfaction. I am eager to learn from and collaborate with professionals in the field and pursue new challenges and opportunities.
