RESEARCH INTERESTS In general, the interaction of light with matter mainly consists of thin films, nanostructures, plasmonics, and its application such as photovoltaics ( like organic and perovskite solar cells), biosensing and photocatalysts through experimental studies and optoelectrical modelingsimulations
physical and chemical Thin film deposition such as thermal evaporation, scattering, spin coating, dip coating, chemical bath deposition, chemical reduction • characterization methods of nanostructure such as AFM, SEM, XRD, and Spectroscopy beside their related software such as ImageJ, Gwyddion, and Xpert HighScore.
• Characterization method of electro-optic devices such as a solar cell (I-V, Quantum efficiency (QE)) • Working in Glowbox, vacuum, and ion implantation environment.
• Simulation part
1-optical simulation Numerical solving of Maxwell's equation by FDTD technique, Transfer matrix method (TMM), effective medium theory, somewhat quantum optic simulation.
2-Electronical simulation Numerical solving of Poisson, Drift-Diffusion, and Continuity equations of the semiconductor.
3-Optoelectronic simulation Combined optical and electrical parts for optoelectronic devices such as solar cells and LEDs.
4-Softwares • General ones: Window and Linux OS, Origin, Matlab, Mathematica, Labview, Python and C++ programming, Photoshop. • Professional ones: Meep, Lumerical, Comsol, Origin, SCPAS-1D, and somewhat data science with python.
