Jannes Schmunkamp

Jannes Schmunkamp is a motivated M.Sc.

Mechanical

Engineer with experience in project management and CAD. He is also a licensed electrician for automation. He has worked at Kalkhoff Bikes, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Clarios, and Philips, where he developed measurement scripts, created and validated FEM models, and initiated new packaging solutions.

He is proficient in SolidWorks, MATLAB, Altium, and Python and has experience in project management. Jannes completed his M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands and his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at Leibniz University Hanover in Germany, including a semester abroad at IIT Delhi in India. He is fluent in German and English, has beginner-level Mandarin language skills, and enjoys gardening and bike repairs.

He has volunteered as Village Youth Head, Refugee Food Supply, Bike Repair, Foodbank Gardening, Ministrant, and Judo Coach, and he holds a Solidworks CSWP – Mechanical Design certificate. Jannes is looking for an interdisciplinary career in Singapore for the long term.
