Lauren Wendt

I am a recent graduate of Jacobs University, with a degree in International Business Administration and a minor in International Relations. Professionally I am interested in event management, marketing, and hospitality.

My most recent experience has been as a Marketing Assistant for Production Paradise in Barcelona during the summer of 2021. In this position, I would manage the company’s social media platforms, scout for new members, troubleshoot for clients, edit the company magazine, and assist in planning a hybrid online/offline event that the company was organizing.

I have additionally worked for the Internal and External Relations Committee for the annual Art Festival at my university in the spring of 2022. In this position, I served as the main communicator between those submitting artwork and those organizing the event.

Another position I had was as an Event Planner and Social Media Manager at Wild Elephants Hostel in Bratislava, Slovakia, on and off from the summer of 2019 until the winter of 2022. In this position, I would organize daily excursions and larger nightly events with the guests at the hostel. This role gave me a lot of insight into what is needed to plan large and small events and allowed me to use my creativity in order to create truly unique experiences for travelers.

I graduated from Jacobs University with my bachelor's degree in International Business Administration in 2022. During this time, I also participated in the Erasmus program at IE University in Madrid, Spain.
