Luise Carrenho

Pharmaceutical Scientist with 10+ years of experience in pharmacology, pathology, and oncology — bridging academia, preclinical research, and clinical development. I hold a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a Master’s in Biological Sciences, with a strong foundation in biomedical research and university-level teaching. During my academic career, I taught Pharmacology, Pathology, and Physiology to students in Nursing, Dentistry, Physiotherapy, and related programs — strengthening both my scientific expertise and communication skills.

My research experience includes murine models, advanced 2D/3D cell culture, tumor organoids, and histological analysis, with a particular focus on oncology. I have completed Clinical Research Associate (CRA) training programs at Pharmaakademie (Germany) and Viares Academy, as well as ICH GCP Training. I am currently enrolled in the Viares Training Course – The Oncology Monitor (in progress), as I transition into the clinical research field.
