I am a Full Stack Developer currently working to create a product that can take us one step forward in the field of Charging for Electric Vehicles. I want to develop a product rather than just developing a code. As a developer, I am working in Kotlin Spring boot for backend, Angular and React Native for frontend, while python for doing research on Data, and Mondo DB as our database. As an employee, I am not just working on code, but also doing research on products for the future. In this startup, we have always tried to work with Agile methodology which has helped us to work in a more flexible way with the products. I have been actively working on creating the timeline for the product, creating sprints. Meanwhile, I have also learned a few things about UX/UI design and working with Figma. This has given me an exposure to design side as well. As I am also looking over the technical team, I have been always trying to align the business goals with technology goals. I have also been trying to do some customer meetings to understand the product requirements more. In my time with this startup, I have worked on 4 different products and got a wide exposure from customer interaction to user requirements to business anylysis to MVP to documentation. I have been enjoying this work a lot and want to explore more of the product side. I have understood that developing a product is just lot more than coding. I have got a lot of opportunity here to work and learn stuff from some senior investors and entrepreneurs.
Because of my alignment towards product management, I have also done a few courses to get a deeper insight into this field. These course taught be all the basic terms of product management. I got to know how to do market analysis, what are different things I need to keep in mind while interacting with different stake holders. How to work with personas, different metrics. I have also been in recent time trying to read some books to understand product management with help of some case studies.
