Nikhil Jerin

I’m an aspiring ML Engineer with an interest in building and creating the most effective engineering solutions for the better future. I have a bachelors in Mechatronics and currently pursuing a masters in Automation and Robotics with specialization in AI and Statistical Learning. My experience bridges data engineering, AI development, and system integration, with a strong foundation in robotics, embedded systems, and programming. Getting a life changing product into the hands of people is my calling.

Profound knowledge in Control Theory, Unsupervised Learning, Data Processing, Process Automation, and Cloud Solutions (Azure, Databricks). I'm proficient in Python, C++, and data analytics tools like Power BI and have a solid background in implementing ETL processes and deploying data pipelines across various platforms. I’ve also contributed to developing maritime risk assessment models at Fraunhofer CML and have hands-on experience with complex data engineering and automation projects.

I am particularly proud of creating a Phonocardiogram that can act as a faster medium of Telemedicine which won various prizes including IEEE MedHack 2020 and I have co-worked with Central Electro Chemical Research Institute(CECRI) to develop various devices for automation and so on. With a broad skill set covering important facets in Automation space, I am looking for exciting opportunities as well.

When I'm not working I'm likely to hear music, yelling at athletes on TV who can't hear me, reading anything I can find on Steve Jobs and Muhammad Ali and living by the motto “Character consists of what you do on the third and fourth tries"
