Info
QA engineer with 3+ years in backend testing and CI/CD automation, building hands-on AWS infrastructure experience on my own time. My deployment platform provisions VPC, ALB, ECS Fargate, and RDS with Terraform and ships through keyless OIDC-based GitHub Actions with tflint and tfsec gates. At Playtech I spend a lot of my day in logs, tracing failures across distributed services in Kibana and CloudWatch to tell application bugs from infrastructure problems.
Before that, as sole QA at SimplBooks, I built the CI pipelines and Cypress suite from scratch and cut regression time by about 40%.

Server QA Engineer at Playtech (2026-03 – Present)
Backend and API testing for a multi-tenant iGaming platform
- Triage failures in async, Redis-backed transaction flows by correlating logs across services in Kibana (KQL) and CloudWatch to pin down whether the cause is application, environment, or network.
- SSH into Linux test and staging VMs to check service state, logs, and config differences between environments.
- Write Oracle PL/SQL and PostgreSQL queries to validate data integrity across currency modules and progressive jackpot campaigns.
- Use AI tools daily for ticket analysis and test case design.
QA Engineer (sole QA) at SimplBooks (2023-07 – 2026-03)
Multi-country accounting SaaS
- Built and maintained the GitHub Actions pipelines for test automation: matrix builds, parallel jobs, scheduled runs, and artifact retention. Cut regression cycle time by about 40%.
- Built the Cypress end-to-end framework from scratch, replacing the team's GhostInspector setup, and used AI-assisted generation to speed up writing tests.
- Set up environment-parameterized API test pipelines with Postman and Newman as a release gate for staging and production-ready builds.
- Worked with developers on release readiness and caught 200+ defects before release, contributing to a roughly 25% drop in post-release production incidents.
