I’m looking to work in a prestigious and reputable university whose aim is to provide students with rigorous and authentic education catering to their diverse needs. I believe that such a nourishing environment will help me continue to develop my teaching skills while creating a challenging and fun learning environment for students.Moreover, I am highlighting the new qualifications and skills I have acquired lately which would make me a suitable candidate for the job.

I earned a Professional Educator Diploma in STEAM Education at the American University, and I earned a CELTA certificate from Cambridge University. During CELTA, I taught eight online classes at different levels: elementary, intermediate. I successfully conducted four assignments which were:

1-Focus on the Learner: I had to choose a low achiever student and target some of the weaknesses to develop them.

2- Language Related Tasks: I was given 4 sentences in English and had to examine their grammatical structure then think about how to introduce, explain them to my students (e.g. with pictures, acting, etc.).

3- Language Skills Related: I had to choose a text that was appropriate for students' level and design an oral activity, so I would promote speaking.

4-Lessons from the Classroom: I had to observe the class of another (full-time) teacher and reflect on my class to improve it.

In addition, I am teaching The British National Curriculum at the British University of Egypt now.

Currently, I enrolled in a Master of Arts in education at Liver pool that includes PGCE and PGDE from Liverpool John Moore’s University in London, the UK which is in progress. Job Duties:

• Helps trainees improve their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills
• Prepares coursework, exercises, assignments, quizzes, and final exam pack for the assigned level/course
• Arranges any extracurricular activities, if needed
• Ensures that extra material is received by the academic coordinator and training coordinators in good time so that the necessary actions are taken before the class
• Creates a vibrant teaching atmosphere and making use of audio-visual technological devices during the classes
• Develops stable, solid relationships with students with appropriate boundaries
• Provides guidance and advice to students on educational matters; providing information on sources of more expert advice
• Maintains discipline in the classroom
• Monitors student behaviour, and reports any deviations
• Records and maintains accurate records of attendance, performance in assessments and quizzes, and grades of trainees
• Marks and provides appropriate feedback on oral and written work
• Conducts one-to-one feedback with students to keep them on track as necessary
• Meets with parents or guardians to discuss students’ academic progress or remedial issues (for young learners’ lower levels
• Understands and works towards team objectives
• Initiates improvements to work processes and practices and shares them with the academic coordinator
• Devises and produces new material, including audio and visual resources at conversation programme/s
• Attends and contributes to teacher development workshops and staff meetings to ensure high standards are maintained

2-I am working from 1st of October 2018 till present primary Co-Teacher and then Reading support teacher

• Assist teachers and other administrators and/or supervisors in implementing the school reading program.
• Help teachers diagnose reading strengths and weaknesses and match these skills with appropriate techniques and materials.
• Work with support staff and school administrators to facilitate the coordination of the reading program with the total curriculum.
• Consult with curriculum committees studying such topics as textbook selection, vocabulary development, concept development, supplementary materials, and the development of study skills.
• Teach remedial reading as needed.
• Perform other responsibilities as may, from time to time, be assigned by the supervisor.
• Doing the reading exams.

•  Assist in developing lesson plans based on state requirements and the specific needs of each child
• Collaborate with teachers to monitor the development of each child
•  Understand the teacher’s routine when it comes to delivering a lesson plan and running the class if the teacher is absent on a particular day
• Work with children in the classroom to promote their learning and development 
• Arrange educational activities outside the classroom and supervise the students during breaks and mealtime.

• To maintain records and documents to license and/or accreditation, which may include classroom assessments, portfolios, or other documentation of school life.
