DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) - Freelance/B2B

100% Remote (Spain or Portugal)

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) to support an international project, providing functional support and delegation from the Architect. A mid‑level profile may also be considered if the technical experience is solid. This is a full‑time freelance/B2B collaboration.

Role Overview The engineer will join a cloud‑focused environment with modern tooling, contributing to CI/CD processes, data workflows, security practices and team task allocation. The collaboration is short‑term but high‑impact, supporting a technical team for the duration of the engagement.

Requirements (Must‑Have)

1. 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
2. Strong experience in CI/CD (5+ years ideal, but fewer accepted if proven hands‑on)
3. Advanced knowledge of AWS
4. Experience with Airflow
5. Knowledge of dbt
6. Understanding of Data Contracts (nice to have, not mandatory)
7. Strong understanding of security best practices
8. Experience assigning tasks and responsibilities within technical teams
9. Fluent English (mandatory)

Project Details Start date: In two weeks

Duration: 3 months

Workload: 40 hours/week

Collaboration type: Freelance / B2B

Location: 100% Remote (Spain or Portugal)

Purpose of request: Functional support delegated from the architect
